Live out life in this lockdown

Hey Lovely Reader!!

How you all have been? Its been a pretty long time since I blogged anything as there were many things going on in my life and now it seems to be settling down gradually. Actually  I have recently shifted to my own flat and this was my biggest news which I was wanting to share with my readers but didn't get time for this too. Well better late than never :-P

So here I am today with another topic on how we should live our life in this lockdown.
We have  been going through a very crucial phase but this too shall pass. I pay my salute to all the police staff and doctors who are actually working on their toes to save us by putting their life into risk and saving us from this Corona Virus. We can also contribute a little for them by just staying inside our home and maintaining social distancing. Why can't we help them with this?
 I am seeing people cribbing at their homes by saying we are getting bored sitting idle at home. Guys please understand once this time will be gone this will never be back so try to enjoy to the fullest. Once this lockdown will be over, we all will be back in our previous routine with no time for our families. So invest in something good which you have always been wanting to.
Below are few habits which you all can develop during this time and can maintain them for forever.

1) Find your purpose and invest in it: There is something unique in everyone of us and there is no better time than now to find out and invest in it. Till now you all had an excuse of being busy due to work and now we can invest in it. So go-ahead with finding your inner creativity or passion which you always wanted to do but time was a big constraint for you.

2) Invest in your health: This is the best time to invest in your health. People who always had an excuse of being busy and not doing any workout has now plenty of time to invest. Gear up guys and do some yoga and pranayam and make yourself fit and healthy.

3) Eat healthy and delicious food: This is the time where you can do experiments with your ingredients and built up a new recipe. I am not a MasterChef kind of person who can make chola bhatura or golgappas at home but I keep doing experiments with healthy recipes like I learnt making peanut chat/Makhana chat in a healthy way, homemade namak paras and shallow fried aloo ki tikki. So keep your brain active by doing and learning some healthy recipes.

4)Have plenty of water: This is the best time to clean/ detoxify our body. Have 4-4.5 liters water everyday to cleanse our body internally as we are at home and using laboratory is no more hurdle for us. Those who can not have plain water can have detox water or green tea. I need not to mention again the health benefits of having water as I have already mentioned in my blog. Those who haven't read please read it again and keep yourself hydrated. 5) Use homemade face packs and hair masks: So girls when reaching out to parlors is not easy for us, we can have a trial of some homemade face packs and hair packs. Nothing is better than homemade things.
My favorite face pack these days is curd, lemon, haldi, honey and coffee. Please give a trial of this pack and you will get glowing skin in return. Similarly when lockdown is going on having messy oily hair bun is not a bad idea right gals!! Yes you heard me right. Please start doing good care of your hairs by oiling them or applying any hairpack like curd, egg pack or banana and olive oil pack This is the best time where you don't have to shampoo your hair in rush to reach office early.Girls do whatever experiment you wanna do on yourself as experiments lead to some good results always. Nurture your skin and hairs beautifully as this will last for forever. One of my favorite face pack is Coffee pack. 6) Spread positivity all around: The way your inner energy vibrates, same get replicated in our outer world.When world is fighting through this tough pain we should spread positivity all around by using some positive affirmations like all is well in my world and so am I. I am healthy and fine. Start using these affirmations with more positivity and we will sail through this phase.

7) Talk to your family and old friends: Those friends which were left behind in run of life can now be contacted again. So what are you waiting for :-) Go ahead with calling your friends and rejuvenate those old memories. Those who are with family, enjoy this time to the fullest as this time will never be back again when you have no work to do except fun time with family. Make your bond more stronger than ever with your parents and kids.

8) Work on decorating your home and cleaning wardrobes: Those were the times when cleaning a wardrobe was never easy because of shortage of time. Now play your favorite music on in your ears and shuru ho jao :-) Look out for your hidden talent of decorating home with some beautiful ideas you may have in your mind.

9) Invest in nature and gardening: I am sure almost all of us love plants but hardly get time to water and nurture them. So please have this time utilized in the nature and enjoy the beauty.

10) Go out in your balcony or terrace to enjoy beauty of nature:  This is the time when we have least pollution in our surroundings ,please have a look of this beautiful nature. If you all have noticed, this time we hear the birds chirping in the morning, sky is beautifully blue which was seen many years ago.
A note to IT engineers who are working from home in this lockdown I request you all to please adopt work life balance. Please take a pause in between from your work and do some stress relieving activities and take good care of your healthy. Don't overburden and overstress yourself because health is wealth.
