Dear Coffee : I love you for my beautiful skin & healthy hairs

Welcome Readers,

In today's topic I am going to reveal amazing hidden benefits of coffee which not only work wonders on our body but also on our skin and healthy hairs.
Personally I never loved coffee as I was a tea lover and now I am a big time coffee lover . See how taste and preferences change in life, isn't it. That's how life is and change is always difficult but it's good. I have so much to write on life but I am not gonna divert the topic .Let's focus on coffee only for now :-)
Anyways Coffee is now such a refreshing beverage for me that I crave for it entire day. Everyone has some hidden story behind loving something and same I have.
My love for coffee started when I started commuting to office on public transports. My office is around 20 kms away from my home and initially I used to feel so exhausted after reaching office that I started looking for some beverage to give me instant energy and reduce exertion . I used to rush for a cup of tea always and one day tea was not available on the counter and I had a meeting to attend. In my office there is a vending machine from where we get freshly brewed coffee. So I thought "let's give it a try today". The moment I had a sip of it, I was empowered by its aroma so deeply  that I couldn't resist myself from having it again and again.Since that day I became coffee lover and it has become my first friend whom I meet after reaching my workstation. A single cup of coffee refreshes me and gives me instant boost and energy. Coffee has innumerable benefits some of which are listed below:
  • It helps in burning fat and reduce weight
  • It is a great stress buster
  • It reverses aging process
  • It improves immunity
  • It prevents Diabetes
  • It ease out menstrual cramps
  • It reduces the risk of heart disease
  • It increases blood circulation
Although it has tons of benefits, I have highlighted few of them. But did you know coffee is a energy booster for our body and a great companion for our skin too. I am sure many of us are not aware of this hidden secret.
Coffee home made packs are healthy for skin. Yes, this is so true that coffee has antioxidants properties which helps in removing sunburn patches from skin and when mixed with honey and rose water, works wonder on your face. It removes all the dirt, pollution and other toxins from the skin and gives you healthy, clear and glowing skin.It also removes  dead cells from face and opens closed pores. It is such a simple face pack that you can even apply when you are rushing for some unplanned parties. All you have to do is just spare five minutes from your routine to apply this pack.
Ingredients needed for this face pack is below:
2 teaspoons of coffee powder
1 spoon of rose water
1/2 spoon of honey

Process to prepare this pack is :

Take a bowl, add all the above mentioned ingredients and mix everything together to make a smooth paste. Gently apply this paste on all over your face and let it dry completely. It usually take 5-7 minutes to dry out. Later wash it off with normal water. You guys will be amazed with its results. Do give it a try once specially ladies, it will reduce your parlor cost to some extent :-)
Try out and let me know the results. I am sure you guys will love it. For best results, use it twice in a week.

Now another amazing fact is Coffee works wonder on hairs too which I also got to know recently.
All you have to do is, just add a teaspoon of Coffee in all your hair packs be it curd and egg pack or banana and honey pack or any other pack of your choice.
Amazing benefits of coffee on hairs are:

  • Improves hair color
  • Brings shine
  • Improves scalp circulation.
  • Its antibacterial property helps in removing all the dust and germs from your hair and gives you shiny and bouncy hairs.

Hence the bottomline is, coffee is not only healthy for our body but also for our skin and hairs.
So from next time whenever you rush for a cup of tea in a break , grab a cup of coffee and enjoy it. But guys, keep in mind excess of everything is bad for our health be it coffee or any other thing. So watch out the quantity.

With this, signing off for now.
Stay tuned for more such healthy tips.

Friends : More important than family

Hello readers,

A warm welcome on my page. Festive season has started and as soon as August comes, I get very excited. Reason for my happiness is first and most important is its my Birthday month and my birth date is 13th August. Just pen down this date on your phone as a reminder to wish me..Just kidding :-)
Other reason is most beautiful day comes in this month which is friendship day. I am really not sure about the reason why first sunday of August is celebrated as Friendship day as it is such a cute relationship which does not need any specific day to celebrate. Even one page of blog can not describe the beauty of this relationship. Friends can be made anywhere in school, in college, in office or even during travel. I had been an introvert girl and always used to think that people will judge me for my nature and never knew about the beauty of friendship until I met some good friends in my life who accepted me the way I am and made me happy and feel special always. I am blessed with these friends in my life.
The saying is indeed true that no bond is stronger than friendship. Friendship is a beautiful bond  where two different souls decided to walk through together without being judgemental about each other. I personally feel this relationship is far more better than being into a relationship with a lover.

Let me tell you my story. I have travelled to so many places in India because of my job. I had so many apprehensions for relocation but never knew God has already made waited some friends there for me who will make me comfortable and made my stay always rememberable.

When I initially relocate to Lucknow,I was so much afraid that being away from my family and parents, how would I be able to survive there as I didn't know even a single person at that place but the day I joined office, I met few gals who offered me to join them over a cup of tea. And from there our friendship grew. Initially we were three Rachana, Meenu and  Shweta but gradually that circle started growing even bigger when I had Saumya, Pankaj, Ankit all of them in this group. I used to suffer a lot for my food arrangement and they helped me out in such a easy way by providing the number of best tiffin services. We all used to share so much over a cup of coffee daily that I started loving my stay in Lucknow and I used to look forward to go to office to meet them and make memories with them. I was staying in a PG  and found Amity college girls there who used to look forward for me to come back from office and have fun. I did lot of masti with all those friends in Lucknow be it eating pani puri, watching movie, roaming in Patrakar market, sharma ji ki famous chai and treat in CCD very weekend. That was the time which I still remember and cherish.

Then time came to leave Lucknow with wet eyes and move to chennai. Who could ever think that being from north india, south india can also be a fun place to live. Places can be fun when we get friends there. I was haunting there for a place to stay and I got two girls to live with. We all three starting sharing our lives together. I used to look forward to talk to them as they made me feel happy by listening to my problems and providing solution to me whenever needed. Moumita and Tithi ,I spent beautiful days of my life with you. And even in office I found my colleagues who eventually became my friend. Rajesh. Swati, Kaushik, Vimal, Satya those were my friends in office. I used to work in early morning shift there and started having idlis in breakfast with them and a cup of filtered coffee. We all used to share so much together that we spare an hour daily from our life and used to reach office an hour before from our shift so that we can enjoy together . I am really blessed with lot of good friends in my life.

Then again relocation time came and I shifted to Noida. I met with a girl over net and asked her if she can help me with stay and guess what, we started living together in the same house. We both were tea addict and used to make tea's together and have them together. During that duration, we used to share our lives and never knew that we will be BFF's. A stranger can become important part of your life was never known to me before I got this true friend in my life. She is the one with whom I have shared my entire life and without being judgemental about myself. she has always helped me in my ups and downs. She is the one who knows everything about my past and present. and the best part is she has always advised me . We two never get bored talking to each other. We are so common in nature that its like two sisters born from different mother. Love you so much Pallavi

And last but not the least, there is one more Jhalli in my life, Shipra . She is such a carefree girl that she always call me to pass her time during her commute from office to home. we are friends since our childhood and share a special bond together. She makes me laugh when I feel low, makes me more happy when I am happy and gives me advice when I needed it the most.

Lovers can leave you for your mistakes but friends will make you laugh for your mistake and teach you the good way to correct it. Best thing about friendship is "this relationship don't ask you to change yourself but accepts you will all the flaws of yours." At times, when parents are not near you or you can't disclose your problem with them, Friends are there. Thank you Akshay, Rajeev, Aakshi, Meraj, Devesh,Deepshikha and some others whose name I missed here. You guys are my lifeline.

Happy friendship day!!
