Breakfast: My favourite meal of the day and yours should also be..

Hello Readers!!

Ms. Blogger is  back with another health tip today and this is related to breakfast which is our first vital meal of the day. You all must have heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but how many of you actually consider it to be important in working days when you are rushing for office?
I met so many people in my life who are either not used to of having breakfast or they don't consider it to be this much important that they have it after 4-5 hours of waking up from bed. Yes, you heard me right. There is a specific time for this meal to be taken and this has to be taken within two hours of getting up from bed. There is a scientific reason behind this saying. As we get up in the morning, our energy level of body is immensely low that it needs some fuel to charge and kick start the day
Below given are some of the points which will make you all understand about this meal relevance.

1) We break our 7-8 hours of fast after long sleep every morning by having breakfast and hence this meal boosts our metabolism.
2) It gives instant energy to our body.
3) It reduces chances of high blood pressure.
4) It gives our body important nutrients and reduces blood sugar level.
5) It plays most important role in shredding weight.

I am sure, after reading these many health benefits of this important meal, you won't even think to miss it again in your life and I will be the happiest person if my readers are getting this thought after reading this blog :-)
Now I am giving you healthy breakfast options which if followed religiously, is not only a complete balanced meal in itself but also leads to good amount of weight loss. I am sure this list will give a big sigh of relief to the ladies or mommies from thinking about the breakfast options as they can choose easily anyone from the below and if they wanna follow them all then they can get relief for at least next ten days from this regularly asked question ki "Subh nashte me kya banau" :-)
Our breakfast should be a high protein meal of the day as protein gives instant boost to our body, helps in weight loss and makes us feel full for longer time because of which we can concentrate more better on our work.

So here comes the list:

1) Poha with peanuts and lots of veggies.
2) Paneer sandwich with 100 grams of Paneer slice and brown/Wheat/ Multigrain bread.
3) Hung curd sandwich with hung curd and onions, tomatoes, bell pepper, mushroom, grated carrots and french beans.
4) oats upma/ Rava upma with lots of green veggies.
5) Multigrain/ Brown bread and omelette with lots of finely chopped veggies of your choice.
6) Parboiled/ Raw moong sprouts with lots of veggies and some cubes of paneer.
7) Stuffed paratha with stuffing of your choice and very little or no oil.
8) Rava/ Rice idli with green chutney/sambhar or masala idlis.
9) Oats chilla/ Raggie chilla/ Besan chilla/ Green moong daal chilla/ Yellow moong daal chilla with lots of veggies or grated paneer.
10) Meusli/ Wheat Bran flakes(Cereals) with a bowl of milk.
11) Big bowl of fresh fruits.
12) Daliya with lots of veggies.

Here are list of ten easy breakfast recipes which can be made in the nick of time and have lot of health benefits. I am personally not in a favour of tenth and eleventh number option as I like to have my first meal a salty one. Every person has his/her own taste preferences :-)
One thing to be noted here is, try to add lots and lots of veggies in your breakfast to get maximum nutrients benefits and easy digestion. Try adding a bowl of fresh cut fruits and a glass of milk together with your breakfast as this meal should be your heaviest meal of the day and a complete meal in itself.

Out of these ten, my favourite breakfast option is poha and bread omlette. Do inbox me with your favourite one. Also comment on my blog page if you find this article interesting.

With this signing off for now.

  4. Yes you are right. I can relate on both side of people as u discussed who don't have breakfast in time (as I have spent a lot of time at mumbai away from family, not having breakfast on time n gained weight alot) n now when I m staying with family n do my breakfast religiously not 100% as u told but around 70%. Relaxing in the morning with breakfast on dining table n have it king size. I used to have , poha , upma, moong sprouts, chana sprouts, chilla along with daily dose of protein shake which definitely helped me reducing my weight too from 102 Kg to 94 Kg n moving down. All credit goes to my wife for this healthy breakfast.

  6. Nice blog after a long time, you are right people use to tell, have breakfast like king, lunch like queen and dinner like beggar, but what to eat is very important which you have described in your blog. People those use to travel a lot for work have many options in your list which can carry and have it during journey break or when in JAM but pls do not eat while driving. It's very important in present work life that at least we should start our day with healthy food. Keep writing such a nice blog frequently TC.
