One go remedy for your oral hygiene- Stay Tuned

Sorry for blogging so late but today I am back with a interesting home remedy for any kind of tooth or gum issues you are dealing with lately. sounds interesting !!

Here I am sharing a incident that happened with me recently. I had been facing issues of bleeding gums, tooth decay and bad breath but I am also one of the person like you who is afraid of visiting dentist and was procrastinating it daily. One fine day I decided to google for the issue to find some home remedy which could ease me out.

Guess what I found, OIL PULLING. Like me, many of you must be thinking what the hell is this now. Are we pulling oil from some khaan or something πŸ˜‚na na na. Let me explain it in simple words.

What oil pulling is how it is to be done and what are the benefits?

Oil pulling is swishing the edible oil in your mouth to remove bacteria and improve oral hygiene. This is the best remedy for all of your oral issues. This has been used by many people in our ancient times and they were blessed with impeccably oral hygiene with this.

How- Take one spoon of coconut oil(preferably Virgin or cold pressed oil) swish it around the mouth for 15 minutes(its minutes not seconds haan) 😁 Initially doing it for 5 minutes would be a hell thing for you as it will make your jawline awfully paining. Still no worries keep doing it daily without miss and then gradually increase the timings day by day and swish the oil for 15 minutes and spit it out just like you do mouthwash followed by toothbrush.

Adopt this habit initially daily for 2 months and see the magic πŸ˜€.Later make it to one week in fortnight. This is scientifically proven to not only beat your oral issues but it detoxifies your intestine by pulling the pollution and dirt just like magnet.

D-Tan pack for glowing and beautiful skin for men and women

Hope you are doing well!

Today I brought a topic which is more exciting for females but trust me men can also make the most out of it 😜

Yeah you got it right so as the festive season is just around the corner and we all are in a rush for shopping and gifting 😍 Meanwhile its our skin which bears a lot when we step out of our home like pollution, dust, scorching Sun and dehydration which makes our skin dull and dry. So today I brought a  homemade D-Tan pack which you apply on the go for just 20 minutes in the entire day and it works far better than your costly facials and give you glowing and charming skin πŸ˜‡

So here is a list of quick ingredients which you require and they are available at your home all the time.

 Let's check them out:

1) Rice Powder/ Wheat Flour/Besan

2) Cucumber

3) coffee powder

4) Turmeric powder

5) Milk

How to apply: Take a bowl, add 2-3 spoons Rice/ wheat flour/Besan. Add a grated cucumber, pinch of coffee, pinch of turmeric powder and mix them all together with help of milk and make a consistency just like idli batter. Apply the paste on your face and let it dry for another 20-30 minutes. Gently rub it on your face with your finger tips and wash it off with lukewarm water followed by moisturizer.

For best results try it out daily.

This is personally my favorite tried and tested D-Tan pack which I apply daily. This can be used by males and females both and as all the ingredients are natural so there is no scope of allergy too πŸ˜‰ there are innumerous other packs as well which I will write in a separate blog .

Are you a Morning tea lover? Instead become a Morning drink lover

 Hello Readers,

Hope you are doing well? It's been long since I blogged as life was keeping busy but now I am back with new energy. Thanks to all my friends and family for pushing me back to write something and its great to hear that I have so many lovely followers who look forward to my blogs. So today's topic is one of my favorites which is TEA and this blog is specially for tea lovers (Chai Premi) just like meπŸ˜€Next question to you all: Are you a bed tea lover? If yes then we are not at all alike😒 and you have to change this bad habit and become a morning drink lover just like me πŸ˜ƒ kyuki jo adatein buri ho wo jaldi se jaldi chhod deni chahiye 😏 now you all must be thinking that when we are having bed tea since ages then how come this habit can be bad..right? Everyone has their own justification for owning  this habit  Believe me drinking tea first thing in the morning is as bad as keeping filled dustbin in your home or you have a diesel car and you are refueling it with petrol πŸ˜₯. Hope now these example are eyeopener for y'all if not then lets dig into the harmful issues this habit can create in your body.

Although there are innumerable disadvantages but I am highlighting few of them which can influence you to leave this habit as early as possible:

1) Having tea as first thing after getting up causes acidity as it contains caffeine.

2) Slows down metabolism which eventually stops weight loss process.

3) Creates dental problems as it causes gingivitis due to excessive bacteria buildup.

4) It causes bloating and dehydration due to milk included.

5) Caffeine is known to give energy boost so having it empty stomach can cause dizziness or nausea.

Tip: Never ever have tea empty stomach in the morning as your body is deprived of food and water from past 8 hours while you were asleep so make sure to refill the fuel with good options which will boost your energy level and give a day good kick start. Start your day with healthy water which will help you for weight loss and maintain healthy lifestyle too.

Lets have a look on the alternatives we should go for instead of milk tea in the morning:

1) Jeera water which burns burn body fat too.

2) Saunf water

3) Carrom seeds water

4 ) Lukewarm water/ Lemon water

5) Chia seeds water

6) Fresh aloe Vera juice

7) Methi dana water

8) Neem Juice

9) Bottle guard Juice/Ash guard juice which reduces sugar level too

10) Bitter guard juice 

11) curry leaves water

I am also a big time tea lover but I never have tea empty stomach in the morning instead I enjoy having it with breakfast and evening 😍 which completes my meal and rejuvenates me.

Right way of Drinking Water

Welcome back to my page. Its been a long time since I blogged anything as life was keeping pretty busy but today I am back with another my all time favorite topic of water. As you all already read my blog on water and know the importance of having water. Those who missed can still go and check it out on the link below

Importance of water for our body

 Now let me ask you another question: how many of you actually know that there is a way also to drink water to get the most benefit out of it and cleanse body from inside?? Now you must be thinking what is there in this. It's just water and we have to gulp it down and that's it. No no no my dearies that's where we are wrong. Let me quickly brief you the right way of having water. If you find my blog interesting and you learnt something out of it then do let your near and dear ones also aware of this so that we create a healthy circle nearby.

1) Never gulp down water in one go: We have always observed that we keep having long breaks in taking water and when suddenly we feel thirsty we gulp down a glass in one go. This is absolutely wrong way of having water as it causes water retention, bloating, dehydration and stop weight loss process too. Instead have sip by sip throughout the day

2) Always sit down while having water: Another major issues we keep seeing in kids and adults that they prefer to have water in a standing position rather than relaxing on a chair and having water. Water when taken in a standing position leads to join pain, accumulation of water in knees and arthritis problem in long go. while standing and drinking water disrupts the fluids in our body.

3)  Have water before brushing teeth in the morning: Now another thing I heard from many people is they prefer taking water in the morning after they freshen up and brush whereas there are some good bacteria that generates through out the night into our mouth from our saliva when we asleep. So always have 3-4 glasses of water before getting up from your bed so that good bacteria can work for us.

4) Use copper bottle rather than plastic or steel bottle: who doesn't know the benefit of copper utensils and that's the reason it is recommended to have water also in copper/Chaandi bottles instead of plastic or steel. Or you can use traditional MATKA too as nothing can beat the benefits of Matka Water. 

5) Always have room temperature or Warm water: As summers are arriving, many of you will start storing water in fridges but believe me having cold water has only disadvantages and not even a single benefit for your body. Whereas when you take room temperature or hot water, it helps in weight loss, good digestion and reduce cholesterol. Having cold water leads to constipation, weight gain and disrupts our digestion process. For keeping body cool, incorporate detox waters in your diet.

6) Have sip sip water and never wait to feel thirsty: Never ever wait to feel thirsty and have water then as it ultimately leads to water retention as you will again gulp down water in one go. Instead keep having sip sip water throughout the day so that it gives you maximum benefits.

Tip of the day: Before signing out, I would like to give a tip for you all. Always drink maximum water from the start of the day till evening 5 and gradually reduce down after sunset as it gives maximum benefit and will not disrupt your sleep too by roaming in washroom all the time :).  Also if you feel uncomfortable having 3-4 litres water in a day or not used to of having this much liquid, go for detox water. Mango: Weight Gainer or Weight Reducer..umm..

Yes this time it's everyone's favorite summer fruit MANGOOO :-)

I heard many people saying we love mango but we don't eat it as it leads to weight gain. So is it really a weight gaining fruit or weight loosing fruit? If I say it helps in weight loss would you guys believe me? I know not many of you.

One mango has approximately 80-100 calories which is manageable in a day with right eating. Just plan your meal in a way that if you wanna have mango then have one chapati less in your meal so that your calorie count will be balanced. or have it in morning mid-meal.Weight loss and weight gain is all game of calories.

Live out life in this lockdown

Hey Lovely Reader!!

How you all have been? Its been a pretty long time since I blogged anything as there were many things going on in my life and now it seems to be settling down gradually. Actually  I have recently shifted to my own flat and this was my biggest news which I was wanting to share with my readers but didn't get time for this too. Well better late than never :-P

So here I am today with another topic on how we should live our life in this lockdown.
We have  been going through a very crucial phase but this too shall pass. I pay my salute to all the police staff and doctors who are actually working on their toes to save us by putting their life into risk and saving us from this Corona Virus. We can also contribute a little for them by just staying inside our home and maintaining social distancing. Why can't we help them with this?
 I am seeing people cribbing at their homes by saying we are getting bored sitting idle at home. Guys please understand once this time will be gone this will never be back so try to enjoy to the fullest. Once this lockdown will be over, we all will be back in our previous routine with no time for our families. So invest in something good which you have always been wanting to.
Below are few habits which you all can develop during this time and can maintain them for forever.

1) Find your purpose and invest in it: There is something unique in everyone of us and there is no better time than now to find out and invest in it. Till now you all had an excuse of being busy due to work and now we can invest in it. So go-ahead with finding your inner creativity or passion which you always wanted to do but time was a big constraint for you.

2) Invest in your health: This is the best time to invest in your health. People who always had an excuse of being busy and not doing any workout has now plenty of time to invest. Gear up guys and do some yoga and pranayam and make yourself fit and healthy.

3) Eat healthy and delicious food: This is the time where you can do experiments with your ingredients and built up a new recipe. I am not a MasterChef kind of person who can make chola bhatura or golgappas at home but I keep doing experiments with healthy recipes like I learnt making peanut chat/Makhana chat in a healthy way, homemade namak paras and shallow fried aloo ki tikki. So keep your brain active by doing and learning some healthy recipes.

4)Have plenty of water: This is the best time to clean/ detoxify our body. Have 4-4.5 liters water everyday to cleanse our body internally as we are at home and using laboratory is no more hurdle for us. Those who can not have plain water can have detox water or green tea. I need not to mention again the health benefits of having water as I have already mentioned in my blog. Those who haven't read please read it again and keep yourself hydrated. 5) Use homemade face packs and hair masks: So girls when reaching out to parlors is not easy for us, we can have a trial of some homemade face packs and hair packs. Nothing is better than homemade things.
My favorite face pack these days is curd, lemon, haldi, honey and coffee. Please give a trial of this pack and you will get glowing skin in return. Similarly when lockdown is going on having messy oily hair bun is not a bad idea right gals!! Yes you heard me right. Please start doing good care of your hairs by oiling them or applying any hairpack like curd, egg pack or banana and olive oil pack This is the best time where you don't have to shampoo your hair in rush to reach office early.Girls do whatever experiment you wanna do on yourself as experiments lead to some good results always. Nurture your skin and hairs beautifully as this will last for forever. One of my favorite face pack is Coffee pack. 6) Spread positivity all around: The way your inner energy vibrates, same get replicated in our outer world.When world is fighting through this tough pain we should spread positivity all around by using some positive affirmations like all is well in my world and so am I. I am healthy and fine. Start using these affirmations with more positivity and we will sail through this phase.

7) Talk to your family and old friends: Those friends which were left behind in run of life can now be contacted again. So what are you waiting for :-) Go ahead with calling your friends and rejuvenate those old memories. Those who are with family, enjoy this time to the fullest as this time will never be back again when you have no work to do except fun time with family. Make your bond more stronger than ever with your parents and kids.

8) Work on decorating your home and cleaning wardrobes: Those were the times when cleaning a wardrobe was never easy because of shortage of time. Now play your favorite music on in your ears and shuru ho jao :-) Look out for your hidden talent of decorating home with some beautiful ideas you may have in your mind.

9) Invest in nature and gardening: I am sure almost all of us love plants but hardly get time to water and nurture them. So please have this time utilized in the nature and enjoy the beauty.

10) Go out in your balcony or terrace to enjoy beauty of nature:  This is the time when we have least pollution in our surroundings ,please have a look of this beautiful nature. If you all have noticed, this time we hear the birds chirping in the morning, sky is beautifully blue which was seen many years ago.
A note to IT engineers who are working from home in this lockdown I request you all to please adopt work life balance. Please take a pause in between from your work and do some stress relieving activities and take good care of your healthy. Don't overburden and overstress yourself because health is wealth.

Workout: My Passion

Hey lovely readers!!

Getting up off the couch and taking part in regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do to ensure you remain healthy. 
It's been more than a year since I am into this fitness journey and believe me this journey is amazing. Only thing you have to do is shut your brain with the lame excuses of being tired and skipping workout and start loving yourself with the sweat of your body which comes out after workout. Yes you heard me right.
Before I entered into this fitness journey, I used to be a typical punjabi girl whose focus was only on eating eating and eating. Eating is good but eating right is much more important which I can understand now when I am into this transformation journey. Merely following a diet will not help you to loose weight till the time you do some workouts.
I keep on meeting many ladies who says they don't even have an hour time from their routine for any kind of workout as they have kids and family to take care. Ladies you have to understand one thing, you are the backbone of your family and backbone has to be strong. This not only implies to females but to males too who are the bread earner of the family. You can take good care of your family only when you yourself is healthy. And for this, you have to spend a little on yourself and your body. So what you have to do is take out an hour time and make it your me-time by going out for a workout of your choice. Does not matter if it is Jogging,brisk Walking,Zumba,Aerobics anything, put the music high and go with the pace and see how you will start enjoying it.Choose whatever makes you happy,and make it your routine first and gradually your passion. Believe me your body will also start loving you and respond you even better.
And moreover it is not only helpful for people who are on weight loss journey but for everyone to be fit and healthy. I am sure you will be amazed by knowing the health benefits of workouts which I am writing below:
1) Help you control weight,make your body and muscles toned.
2) Help your body to manage blood and sugar levels
3) Reduce chances of heart attacks
4) Help you improve mental health
5) Improve your sexual health
6) Build immunity
6) Make you sleep like a baby :-)
7) Increase chances of living healthy and disease free life
8) Leads to good digestion
9) Lower risk of depression and anxiety
10) Reduce chances of cancer risk.
If there are such many innumerable health benefits of something then why are we not adapting it? Make yourself win from all the lame excuses,start enjoying workout from today itself and see the change in yourself.
And yes,who does not love glowing and pretty face with toned body :-) hope you got me now haha. Doesn't matter how busy life is treating you, take out half an hour me-time for yourself. Afterall, health is wealth.
